Natural Birthing Through Self-Hypnosis

HypnoBirthing® is a rewarding, relaxing, naturl, and stress-free method of birthing that is based on the belief that all babies should come into the world in an atmosphere of gentility, serenity, and joy. When a mother is properly prepared for birthing physically, mentally, and spiritually, she can experience that sort of joy, birthing her baby in an easier, more comfortable, and often pain-free manner. Through a well-thought-out program of deep relaxation, self-hypnosis, special breathing techniques, visualization, affirmations, and education, HypnoBirthing® returns to a woman the art of birthing in a way that allows her to summon her natural birthing instincts and to birth her baby in safety with ease.

"When you change the way you view birth, the way you birth will change." -Marie Mongan

HypnoBirthing® allows a mother to be properly prepared and trust herbirthing body to have a natural, comfortable, and easy birth. This "natural way" of birthing is both profoundly beneficial and gratifying, allowing you to know you are birthing the way that nature has intended and without exposing you or your precious baby to medications or altercations. HypnoBirthing® is beneficial for any mother-to-be, even if this is not her first pregnancy. By the end of thefifth class, you will have all of the knowledge and empowerment that you need to ensure that your baby's birth goes just as smoothly as planned by letting your own body guide your baby into this new world. Preserve your energy with a calm birth allowing you and your baby to be coherent and rested during that important bonding time just after birth.

F.A.Qs

Below you will find answers to the most common questions I have received over the years in regard to HypnoBirthing.

When Should I start the HypnoBirthing classes?

Between 20 and 32 weeks is optimal, but if you start later, you can still gain valuable knowledge for your birthing day. It is better to have more time to practice the technique before your birthing day.

How many couples are in each class?

Each class is limited to around six couples. This keeps each class personal and allows me to be attentive to your needs. I offer a rotating schedule that includes in-person and online classes.

Where are the courses taught at?

In-Person courses are held at my office: 11149 Research Blvd #200, Austin, TX 78759.
Live-Online courses are held via zoom.

Are the HypnoBirthing breathing techniques similar to other birthing courses like lamaze?

Not at all, the HypnoBirthing breath work is unique and developed specifically to allow the birthing mother to go within herself and allow her instincts to guide her in birthing - just as nature intended.

Are private classes offered?

Yes, private classes are offered and set at a different fee. If you are interested, visit the schedule page to learn more.

Have many people have used the HypnoBirthing method?

Yes, Your HypnoBirthing instructor, Candace, has used HypnoBirthing for birthing her children, and HypnoBirthing is a world-wide organization. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, birthed her children using the HypnoBirthing Method.
According to leading hospitals, more than 25% of all women giving birth have taken a birthing with hypnosis course, of which HypnoBirthing is the most predominant.

Does HypnoBirthing offer any benefits other than a birthing method?

Most definitely! After learning the HypnoBirthing Method, many parents apply the calming techniques to their parenting and use them throughout life to help them overcome stressful situations.
